Nice,
I asked the staff for some additional team bags, they were happy to oblige. I was able to leave my suitcase on leaving to return and collect. The tube station is close. Some nice eating establishments near by
The breakfast was a let down. Nothing special, no real veggie option outside of hash browns and toast. The plug in the bathroom didn't work, which was frustrating.

Wonderful
Blakemore is a great hotel in Kensington. Safe neighbourhood. The hotel has a good restaurant and terrace (a bit expensive but great food). Staff was professional. Housekeeping perfect. My room was on the 1st floor, it was big in London terms, it was carpeted, with a desk and kettle. Bed was king size and comfortable. There was no street noise because they solved it with an extra window, I really liked this solution, I took a picture of it. Still you could open the window for some fresh air. Wifi was perfect. Alltogether one of my best stays in London!
The corridors are very narrow (you can hardly navigate with a bigger luggage), but this way the rooms are bigger. When I was there one of the lifts did not work for 2 days and everybody used the lift close to my room, so there was considerable coming and going. It was obviously temporary. The hotel is renovated fully , it looks very new from the inside and outside, but the building itself is older, so the ceiling creaked when the guests moved around in the room above me. It was nothing special, it is the same in every building like this.
